Course Objectives
In the fast paced world which we live today it is critical that we know how to manage ourselves, and particularly how we manage stress, and keep ourselves well. Stress is part of life and can never be gotten rid of, however the people who have the most fulfilling lives are those who realise this, and instead of trying to get rid of, or ignoring stress , they learn techniques for managing it. This programme will provide you with skills which will do just that.
At the end of the training delegates will be able to:
- Define what stress is
- Recognise their individual stressors
- Explain the ‘Fight or Flight’ response to stress
- State how we react to stress
- Recognise the relationship between stress and performance
- Identify techniques to help them manage stress
- Demonstrate how to say ‘No’ constructively
- Explain how to give and receive feedback
- Complete and identify The Wheel of Life
